History
The Journey Begins (2011) Greater Good Enterprise was founded in 2011 by visionary entrepreneur Affishaul, evolving from the earlier successes of Affishaul Nitram Enterprises. With a renewed focus, the organization embarked on a mission to empower communities through innovative solutions, targeting both small businesses and the youth. The inception of Greater Good marked a pivotal shift towards leveraging entrepreneurship and education for societal betterment, rooted in the belief that communities thrive when given the right tools and opportunities.
Expanding Impact (2011-2018) In the initial years, Greater Good Enterprise laid down its foundation by offering essential services such as small business solutions, digital marketing, and credit repair assistance. Recognizing the importance of skill development in fostering economic growth and personal development, the organization launched the Young Adult Professional Program (Yapp) aimed at equipping young adults with 21st-century job skills. Through strategic partnerships with various non-profits, Greater Good expanded its reach and impact, addressing the multifaceted needs of the communities it served.
Innovating for Growth (2017-2022) Greater Good Enterprise introduced the Greater Good Hip Hop Program in 2017, an innovative approach to artist development and mental health using hip hop culture. This period also saw the organization strengthen its educational outreach and merchant services, solidifying its role in community support and empowerment. The collaboration with North American Bancard marked a significant enhancement in merchant services, further diversifying the organization’s offerings.
Greater Good Initiative and Beyond (2023-Present) The launch of the Greater Good Initiative in 2023, in collaboration with Krafty Academy, heralded a new era of apprenticeship programs in fields like film production, digital marketing, and more. This initiative underscored the organization's commitment to integrating AI and modern technologies, ensuring that it remained at the forefront of innovation and education.
