About Greater Good Temple Society
Greater Good Temple Society is a community-rooted governance and coordination platform supporting workforce development, behavioral health stabilization, youth programming, media production, agriculture, education, and economic mobility across Eastern North Carolina.
The organization exists to coordinate people, partners, sites, and systems into a unified regional ecosystem.
GGTS works with aligned entities, community partners, training programs, production operations, agricultural sites, and workforce stakeholders to create practical pathways for individuals and families facing barriers to employment, stability, and opportunity.

OUR STORY: A JOURNEY OF EMPOWERMENT
Established in 2011 by Affishaul, Greater Good Temple Society began as a faith-rooted mission to restore dignity, discipline, and direction in underserved communities. Over time, the work matured into a complete ecosystem that integrates:
Cultural and spiritual stewardship
Education and career readiness
Workforce pathways and enterprise launch
Partner-aligned support systems (including licensed services where required)
Today, GGTS operates as the governance body that sets standards and protects integrity—while Hip-Hop Healing Institute (HHHI) and approved partners execute programs and document outcomes.

2011 — Greater Good Begins
Greater Good starts as a social enterprise vision focused on community impact, culture, opportunity, and regional development.
2017 — New Me Foundation Forms
The New Me Foundation is established as the nonprofit human-capital development lane, supporting reentry, second-chance pathways, workforce readiness, and community stabilization.
2023–2026 — Ecosystem Expansion
The broader infrastructure grows through Mid-Atlantic Enterprises, Krafty Academy, Hip-Hop Healing Institute, Hip Hop Peoples, Bethel farm activity, creative economy pathways, and workforce training lanes.
2026 — Fresh Start Fellowship and Peer Pathway Model
The New Me Foundation pathway expands into Fresh Start Fellowship, the N.O.R.E. Initiative, farm-based work readiness, and the Fresh Start Peer Pathway Navigator role, with Wayne Mo serving as an early model participant-leader.
